[He smiles when he finally sees her in person.]

[He shrugs, smiling and also blushing slightly.]

Well, I'm nineteen now.

[He steps in and closes the door behind him.]

There won't be anymore there, I don't think. I died again.

[He smiles, nods, and hugs her.]

I'm fine now. There was this group causing a lot of trouble and somehow, in stopping them, Joanne and David damaged the earth. She woke up and decided she'd had enough of humans, took over the Djinn. And one of them found us while we were on our way to talk with her. I remember Rahel was about to attack Joanne and that I had to stop her somehow and then I woke up back in my room here.

Not a bullet. Actually, I threw a fireball at Rahel. And it wasn't just Joanne. Lewis, Cherise, and Tommy were there, too. And Tommy's just a baby.

Me, too. [He hugs her again.] But I'm happier to be back. And I really hope they don't bring me back to life there again.

Probably. Lewis barely managed it last time.

[He hesitates. This isn't going to be easy for either of them but Steph deserves to know. Cherise knows about Steph, after all.]

I didn't think I'd get back, Steph. I... [He hadn't expected to get to see her again. And he'd had to make a life for himself there.]
